Lyric's 1st Communion

It was a great Mother's Day as Lyric celebrated her first communion. If you recall, she was also baptized on Mother's Day in 2001. After mass, we all went to Mulligan's for their Mother's Day brunch.

Another game - this time we won!!

Hi - here are a few photos from the Giants game. It was colder than the night game and drizzled throughout, but we won!! We used the umbrellas to keep the sea gulls from bombing us - they did get Andy's hat and 2 of our blankets but never a direct hit. We got home last night around 6 p.m., just in time to watch the Giants vs. Padres in the comfort of our living room. Kaitlyn had a great dinner ready for us and we had a relaxing evening at home sweet home.

Another busy day in San Francisco!!

Today we started off the day by touring Alcatraz Island. We got some great photos of the city and Golden Gate Bridge. Then we had lunch at Scoma's at Fisherman Wharf, rested a bit then headed off to the Giant's game. The bums lost 4-2 but we still got to see Tim Lincecum receive his Cy Young award and after the game, we saw a fantastic fireworks show. We have also mastered the bus system so we can go all around the city for $1.50, using transfers just like we were natives.

San Francisco!!

Here are a few photos from our first 2 days in San Francisco. We visited China Town, toured the SF Conservatory of Music, ate a fabulous meal in Little Italy, walked around Fisherman's Wharf and visited the Golden Gate Bridge. I haven't walked on the bridge in over ... well, let's just say I was 10 years old the last time that happened. There is now a visitor center, gift shop and snack bar. It was raining but not hard enough to keep us away. Today we visit Alcatraz and then go to a Giants game!
